Nico Maddox does actually put the Heart back into indie rock. We mean that both figuratively, and literally with the “Heart” single off of his Tired Of Thinking EP. This really is music with heart, truth, and a classic alt-pop rock n’ roll shock value. The EP has several danceable tracks in several genres as the record bounces from track to track with a garage rock etiquette that’s difficult to not love. There is a certain rawness about them (although produced well) that just feels right. If you want to get down into some indie rock that makes you get up and start jumping around, this one is for you. Tired Of Thinking satiates your rock needs.
