Facets of Sound Art Label

Soundscapes for those who listen to what lies between the notes

We are proud to present you our internet label devoted to music & sound art ‘on the edge’.
We’d like to clarify right away that we’re interested in the edges of sound itself, not concepts that push social boundaries!

We release music that we personally enjoy, and our opinion is subjective but serves as the sole and indisputable criterion.
That said, we usually gravitate towards melodic and atmospheric pieces, as well as various sonic experiments.

Approximate list of genres that are likely to interest us:
ambient, noise, industrial, idm, glitch, breakcore, flashcore, darkwave, doom, post-rock, trip-hop, deconstructed club

  • What probably won’t suit us:
    Rap. Please…
Unless it sounds closer to the aforementioned genres rather than rap, but happens to be formally classified as rap.
  • Rock in most of its manifestations
Yes, doom metal is an exception
Here we could start arguing about how some of the above genres are actually forms of rock music, which is generally a debatable question. Nevertheless, regardless of genre classification, you probably have a rough idea of what the aforementioned music sounds like. If your album falls under rock music but explores the boundaries of sound extracted from a guitar, for example – you’re likely a good fit for us!
  • Mainstream pop music
