“Windy Journey” was written back in 2017 and uploaded to VK and PromoDJ, only to be promptly forgotten – until a colleague at my new job (a biochemist and genetic engineer whose husband is a dark ambient fan) expressed interest in hearing my tracks. A week later, she told me that she and her husband really loved this particular one – even though it has absolutely nothing to do with ambient music.

At the time, “Windy Journey” didn’t fit into any of my projects, and the Sёrgie project hadn’t yet emerged – save for the fact that I had used that alias to sign the soundtrack for a homemade game called Pilule.

Now, however, its moment has arrived – especially considering that late July and early August are the perfect time for journeys.
