Full blown alt-grunge with heart, Alien Neighborhood thrives in a time of uncertainty and rocks straight through it all. The short but sweet “Walk Into The Fire” release breaks out desirable riffs and an abraded but appealing vocal style that feels right. The record’s yearning factor comes from the actual energy of the songs as well. Beckoning the influence of a time when grunge reigned the charts, Alien Neighborhood gives us a taste of what is hopefully more to come.
